Hi! I'm Liv Garcia (they/them). I direct, dramaturg, produce, edit, and manage creative teams of all kinds. I'm also a feminist scholar, a book blogger, and a queer Southerner. My goal in all things is to create "beloved community" (I'm borrowing from bell hooks here), inspired by both the neighborhoods I grew up in and the scholars who shaped my worldview. I approach violent and heavy stories with a process rooted in care and an intersectional feminist analysis to make work that hurts kindly.
